Jillian Ryan started her career at @Henkel in 2015 as a Process Engineer. Today, she is working as an Engineering Manager at the Aerospace Adhesives Manufacturing site in Bay Point, California 🇺🇸 where she supports process engineers in a variety of continuous improvement projects. ✈️ “On a day to day basis, I walk the production floor to keep in touch with the challenges our operators face, work with my engineers on current projects, and attend a variety of team meetings to support our initiatives. We’re always working on exciting projects such as safety improvements, quality investigations, cost saving initiatives, new equipment installations, and new product introductions.” As an engineer, Jillian enjoys coming up with new solutions to solve current production issues and problems. “As I started helping younger engineers, I discovered I had a passion for coaching and developing others. Thanks to the Henkel team, I was given the opportunity to manage my fellow engineers and make a greater contribution to our site,” she says. 🤝 Recently, Jillian was named an honoree of the 2021 STEP Ahead Award 🏆 celebrating women in science, technology, engineering, and production (STEP) careers and excellence in Manufacturing. “The award highlights how inclusive Henkel is.
