YOUR ROLE

•Directly supervise Material Handlers accountable for material movement through the production facility

•Prepare, print, assemble and execute Miscellaneous Shipping Orders (MSO; also referred to as Manual/ Straight Bill of Lading) documentation for domestic support shipments in compliance with all applicable company and regulatory standards.

•Schedule and execute stock transfer and sub-contracts orders

•Work with logistics and material planners as needed to ensure effective flow for raw materials into and finished goods out of the facility.

•Support inventory and bin management activities, including annual inventory,

•Monitor and record status of assigned customer accounts from established reports daily.

•Prepare domestic and international FedEx and UPS waybills

•Work with Distribution Supervisor and material handlers by providing document control in accordance with company guidelines for document retention/ retrieval and ongoing updates to departmental SOP’s.

•Input and maintain departmental metric and data collection for plant and customer care activities

•Backup administrator for LOGOS and Imotic hardware exceptions

•Order and manage the purchase of indirect materials and miscellaneous warehouse supplies

•Maintain current carriers, Freight Forwarders, Brokers, Customs Clearance Agents, Supplier Contacts, subject matter experts, and departmental personnel contact listings

•Support plant safety and 5S standards by maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.

•Investigate customer complaints and discrepancies, participate and lead problem solving initiatives and action items.

YOUR SKILLS

•5+ years traffic experience; preferably within a manufacturing environment.

•Associates degree or a formal export/logistics certification in lieu of a full degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Experience with problem solving methods, such as Fishbone or 5 Why

•Proficient in the certification and preparation of dangerous goods documentation for domestic and international transport in all modes

•Hazardous chemicals experience.

•Ability to effectively analyze and determine if supplied freight routing information results in the most cost effective, and direct arrival to destination, for both single and consolidated shipments.

•Extensive hands-on experience with ERP business system; SAP preferred

•General understanding of U.S. export and import regulations

•Top organizational skills for simultaneously managing documentation, high volume phone, and system data input, with a strong follow-up discipline.
