YOUR ROLE

• Perform structure-mechanical simulations (FEA) to develop a detailed understanding of adhesive applications
• Calibrate material models and develop simulation methods for the realistic implementation of material behavior
• Analyze complex applications and processes and develop suitable modeling strategies
• Evaluate and develop experiments to determine material properties and to validate simulation results
• Interpret simulation results and give feedback about the findings from parameter studies to product development

YOUR SKILLS

• PhD or Master's degree in Materials Science, Simulation Sciences, Engineering, or Physics
• Experience in the modeling of polymer-specific behavior and its numerical implementation
• Knowledge of measurements for polymer characterization
• Extensive experience in the execution of structure-mechanical simulations
• Software knowledge in standard modeling tools, e.g.: Abaqus, Ansys Mechanical, LS-DYNA
• Experience in data pre- and post-processing with Python, Matlab, etc.
• Analytical thinking and self-reliant working methods
• Creativity and team spirit
• Fluent English skills
