About this Position
As a Analyst Product Costing, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in standard cost calculations by executing monthly transactions and processes that are fundamental to cost integrity. What you'll do involves ensuring a correct monthly close, preparing detailed reports, and tracking variations, including preparing cost statements in response to PwC requirements.
What you´ll do
- Ensure correct unitary cost calculation of all the new and existing materials.
- Continuous follow up of the corresponding cost variances, identifying weaknesses and root causes to detect & propose measurements to avoid them.
- Punctual and effective interaction and communication with all involved stakeholders in the Product Costing process.
- Perform Closing Activities and ensure accurate reporting of material cost, processing cost and variances on P&L statement.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the process and work/lead some internal projects.
- Executes daily operations, supports stakeholders with relevant process / technical expertise.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree: Accounting or Finance.
- Excel Intermediate.
- Intermediate / advanced level of English.
- Problem Solving Skills: capability to identify issues and troubleshoot problems that arise. Analytical Skill: ability to analyze data for the detection & proposal of measurements to improve the costs of products and variances.
- Communication skills: Clear and effective communication skills are essential for conveying insights, meetings presentation, and collaborating with the team and other departments.
